CloudCraze is an eCommerce application developed natively on the Force.com platform. CloudCraze gives any organization the power of near instantaneous, infinitely scalable eCommerce capabilities.
In addition, existing Salesforce.com enterprise CRM customers can quickly and easily extend their CRM systems by using CloudCraze to perform eCommerce and order-entry transactions. These transactions can be conducted by sales reps, call center reps, customers or partners with direct access to a Force.com eCommerce site.
Because it features a framework native to Force.com, using CloudCraze means that you won’t have to perform any integration work in your existing Salesforce.com CRM database. CloudCraze allows your eCommerce and CRM applications to reside on the same database and reference the same data objects. Most importantly, CloudCraze-developed sites take advantage of the infinite scalability and reach of the Force.com platform, allowing you to scale usage on-demand. It also takes advantage of the Sites capabilities that are already included in the license for Salesforce.com customers.
